Abstract
2012 წელს საქართველოს უნივერ
სიტეტის ჰუმანიტარულ მეცნიერებათა
სკოლაში ინიცირებული იქნა პროექტი - ,,სამშვილდე,“ რომელიც მიზნად ის
ახავდა ამ უნიკალური ნაქალაქარის
არქეოლოგიურ, ისტორიულ და სახე
ლოვნებათმცოდნეო კვლევებს. ამავე
წელს უნივერსიტეტის სამეცნიერო
ბაზაზე ჩამოყალიბდა სამშვილდის არ
ქეოლოგიური ექსპედიცია, რომელიც
დაკომპლექტდა უნივერსიტეტის პრო
ფესორ-მასწავლებლებითა და მოწვეუ
ლი სპეციალისტებით.
