The methods of the Field-Archaeological recording
Abstract
Due to the conditions in the Soviet Union and the difficult socio-economic situation in Georgia at the end of the 20th century, Georgian archaeology significantly lagged behind contemporary scientific standards and methodologies, slowing the field’s development and negatively affecting cultural heritage.
