Leather-Working Tool (Based on Materials from the Yankito 2 Site)
Abstract
The present study focuses on a leather-working tool, specifically an awl, based on materials from the Yankito 2 site. Yankito 2 is located on the Sakhalin Peninsula (Russia), north of the settlement of Kitov, at an elevation ranging from 5 to 17 meters above sea level. The object of our research is the leather-working tool—an awl—discovered at Yankito 2.
