New stone artifacts of Shulaveri-Shomu Tepe Culture from the Marneuli Valley

Authors

Abstract

The Marneuli Valley is a key area of the Shulaveri-Shomu Tepe Culture (8th–7th millennia BC). Surveys in 2016–2017 revealed about 600 stone artifacts.

Typological analysis indicates they belong to this culture and likely come from a destroyed mound-settlement.
