Samshvilde-“the life of Georgian kings and forefathers and their family” by Leonti Mrovelifamily” by Leonti Mroveli
Abstract
The University of Georgia is the scientific and educational institution that has been conducting archaeological excavations at the historical site of Samshvilde for five years already. Like other university students, I had the opportunity to become involved in this work as early as 2012. Since then, significant archaeological discoveries concerning the history of the site have been accumulated, particularly in connection with the research carried out at the citadel and the surrounding area of Sioni Church.
