Interview
Abstract
This issue of Archaeology features an interview with the renowned Georgian scientist and public figure, Professor Vakhtang Japaridze of Sokhumi State University. Professor Japaridze’s many years of activity have been entirely devoted to archaeology and university education. Over the years, he has led numerous scientific expeditions investigating some of the most important archaeological and cultural heritage sites.
Today, Professor Japaridze remains actively involved in both field archaeological work and educational activities, as well as in cultural heritage management and administration. The journal Archaeology wishes him health and continued fruitful work.
