Abstract

The Samshvilde settlement is located in the Tetritskaro Municipality, near the village of Samshvilde. Strategically, the site occupies a highly advantageous position: it is situated on a high, elongated promontory extending from west to east, rising between the rivers Chivchava and Khrami. This promontory consists of a rocky massif formed by basalt outcrops with a height of 150–200 meters.
